Named after the port of the Greek island of Skryos, this captivating chevron design is a beautiful example of chevron designs that were a common embroidery motif in the Sporades islands from the 16th century onwards. Often worked as cushion covers with the design worked around the perimeter of the cushion, this design works well as a smaller textile suitable for putting on your desk, dresser, or bookshelf with a small vase of fresh flowers!
This cheerful design features fresh, bright colors with stylized flowers and bold chevrons, and is easy to follow yet creates a stunningly beautiful border.
This pattern measures 91 stitches wide by 51 stitches tall.
