When stitching on 28ct, you will need a half yard.
When stitching on 32ct, you can fit this on a wide quarter, but you will only have a 2.50 inch border on the short side of the fabric.
When stitching on 36 and 40ct, you can fit this on a wide quarter.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
