When stitching on 28, 32, and 36ct linen you will need a wide quarter.
When stitching on 40ct linen, you can fit this on a wide eighth if you are okay with having a 2.5 inch border on the short side of the fabric.
When stitching on 46ct, you can fit this on a wide eighth.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
