On 28ct linen, you will need a wide quarter.
On 32ct linen, you can fit this on a wide eighth, but you will only have a 2.25 inch border on the short side of the fabric.
On 36, 40, and 46 ct linen, a wide eighth is plenty.
About the chart:
The Cabbagetown neighbourhood name was coined in the late 1840s for the large influx of Irish immigrant residents who were so poor that they grew cabbages in their front yards. Nowadays, we would applaud such ecofriendly use of urban land, but back then it was a mark of derision. Many Cabbagetown homes are semi-detached in the Bay and Gable style.

- Floss is carded and packed for you by hand in a smoke free, pet friendly workshop.
Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
