When stitching this chart 1 over 2, you will need 4 skeins of floss.
When stitching this chart 2 over 2, you will need 8 skeins of floss.
This design is charted as a monochromatic, but as you can see from the cover photo, it is also lovely as a multi-coloured design. We recommend stitching this chart with Blue in the Face, Gwyneth, Tart, Brunette, and Asparagus to get a similar look to the cover photo (see floss photo for reference). When stitching this on 28ct linen, you will need a half yard (or you can squeeze it onto a wide quarter but you will only have a 1.75 inch border on the short side of the fabric).
When stitching this on 32, 36, and 40ct, you can fit this on a wide quarter (32ct will only have a 2.5 inch border on the short side of the fabric).
On 46 count, you can squeeze this onto a wide eighth, but you will only have a 2.25 inch border on the short side of the fabric.

It’s hard to imagine a Quaker sampler without bird motifs. They’re found on medallions and as beloved filler motifs. This new sampler is inspired by Quaker motifs, but clearly isn’t a traditional Quaker sampler. It is a monochrome sampler but you can play with colour, as the cover art suggests.
