When stitching on 28, 32, and 36 count linen, you will need a half yard.
When stitching on 40 count linen, you can fit this on a wide quarter, but you will only have a 2.25 inch border on the short side of the fabric.
When stitching on 46 count, you can fit this on a wide quarter.
