If you are stitching this on 28ct linen, you will need a half yard.
If you are stitching this on 32ct linen, you can fit this on a wide quarter but you will only have a 2.75 inch border on the short side of the fabric.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
