For all linen counts, a wide eighth is enough to stitch this chart, though those stitching on 28ct will only have a 2.5-inch border on the long side of the fabric.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
